The annual western ski trip in 2025 brought the NCMC to Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Breaking with tradition, Jack, Jan and Tom stayed on the mountain at Snowbird in one of the inns. They were shuttled to and from the airport. The trip was a success, although it was too warm and it did not snow. Also, both Snowbird and Alta had chair problems. Indeed, Mineral Basin closed while they were there and did not open for weeks afterward.
